Collette ( director of Studies) 

Hi, I´m Collette. Having lived most of my life in Southern Africa, my family and I moved to Cocentaina just over 11 years ago. I did my Cambridge teaching qualification in Valencia and have taught English learners from young to old. This is my third year working here at The Cambridge School. I enjoy walking in the mountains, listening to all types of music and meeting new people.

 

                                      Gill

My name is Gill and I was born near London. I decided not to take the University option, preferring instead to go in to industry finally qualifying in Business and Marketing. Having run a letting agency, I then qualified in CELTA so as to come to Spain. I have been teaching English for the last 15 years and am experienced in teaching all different Cambridge levels. I live in Biar with my husband and dog and also have a horse. Other hobbies include yoga and painting.

 

 

 

Kate

Hi, I’m Kate. After travelling a lot as a child we finally settled down in a small village called Cocentaina. At 18 years old I started working as an English teacher in small academies both in Cocentaina and in Alcoy. 3 years later I decided to take the celta course in Valencia. I’m enjoying this new experience living in Alcoy with 2 other teachers from this school.

 

 

 

Simon

I come from Stafford, in the centre of england. I started out by teaching music but switched to English when I first moved to Spain 13 years ago. I have two bilingual kids who attend school here in Alcoy.

Hi, I´m Graeme and after spending 30 years working in the customer service industry, I decided to change direction and teach English which I have been doing for the last 3 years in South America and Europe.
